Aoclu Altron Topwater Lure105mm in length, 17g in weight
The Aoclu Altron topwater lure is very similar to the massively popular Contact Feed Shallow lures. These lures are already very successful in UK waters especially for Sea Bass. The 2 colours I have are the Silver/Brown which is similar to the Mirror Ayu and the Brown/Transparent is similar to a Bait Fish colour.Â
They have 2 quality VMC treble hooks. These can be changed over to single inline hooks which you can also buy from my ebay store. This makes it much easier for unhooking and can be kinder to the fish. There can be some lost fish with the single hooks but not so much that it is an issue.
The lure is a floating lure that has a dive of 0.1m-0.5m. This gives you more confidence casting from the beach over the weeds and rocks. They have ball bearings and a magnet inside. This can be seen in the transparent lure. This helps to get more distance on casting but also gives off noise on the retrieve as they move back and forth. The noise should alert any fish close by to the presence of your lure. On the retrieve it also gives a great wobble action which also attracts the fish to it.
