The Mustad Stainless Split Ring has a wide range of applications, from heavy-duty sea fishing, to the finesse presentation of a small lure.
The Mustad range covers everything.
They are most commonly used to attach lures to the leader or a hook to a lure. Sometimes it can be necessary to replace split rings on your lure down to corrosion after use or the quality of split ring that comes with your lure when bought is not up to standard. It may even be that your lure is not supplied with one.
Adding a split ring to your hook with live bait will give a better and much more natural action in the water.
When choosing a split ring, go for the smallest possible guided by the strength you need. This will give the best performance and presentation.
